Yoga Sadhana

Asana Classes

BYK is delighted to introduce Yoga Sādhana classes which are rooted in the Nāth lineage and invites students into a living tradition of inner transformation. Emerging from the teachings of Matsyendranath and Gorakhnath, the classes emphasize on direct experience, disciplined practice, and the guidance of a teacher The classes weave together foundational Hatha Yoga – from āsana, prāṇāyāma, mudrā, bandha, mantra, and meditation – viewing them as tools to refine prāṇa, stabilize the mind, and awaken deeper awareness.

Under the guidance of the living Nath yogi, Sri.M, these classes are conducted by experienced teachers who will handhold you in your Yoga journey. Anchored in paramparā, the journey encourages steadiness (tapas), self-study (svādhyāya), and surrender to the inner guru. Rather than performance or complexity of things, the focus remains on simplicity, breath, stillness, and the cultivation of clarity, compassion, and inner strength. This sādhana course ultimately nurtures a practitioner to be grounded, self-reliant, and attuned to the sacred within and around them. These classes are offered for different levels of learners, with the focus on holistic development.

“Asanas and pranayama help to bring changes in you so that not only you are physically healthy, but also your mind becomes calm.” ~Sri M
