Celebrate Navaratri with chanting, creativity and a little festive fun.
This Navaratri, children are invited to join a two-hour online workshop where they will learn a Devi chant and create their own Durga Maa face mask.
Guided by Nithyashree Ganesh & Srilakshmi, the workshop brings together prayer and a hands-on craft activity to help children connect with the spirit of Navaratri.
Children will be introduced to Yā Devī Sarvabhūteṣu, a sacred verse that reminds us that Devi, the Mother Goddess, is present in all beings and in many forms.
Learning the chant offers children a way to practise devotion, focus and discipline, build confidence and connect with their cultural traditions. It also invites them to see kindness, courage and goodness as ways of honouring the divine presence within each person.
