Become a Sadhaka.

One membership. A complete practice — body, breath, scripture and stillness.

A sadhaka is one who practises — steadily, sincerely, every day. This single membership brings together everything BYK offers for a living sadhana: live yoga classes, Pranayama & Yoga Nidra, a wisdom study circle, and meditation with the rhythm of the moon.

The Satsang Foundation

Live, small-group classes

4 practices | 5 days a week | live online + recordings for a week

Why one membership
A practice is one river, not four streams

Asana steadies the body. The breath gathers the mind. Yogic rest restores it. Scripture lights the path. Chanting and meditation bring stillness. These were never meant to be bought as separate courses — they are one practice, supporting each other. As a Sadhaka member, you receive all of it, at whatever level you practise, for a single membership.

“Asanas and pranayama help to bring changes in you so that not only you are physically healthy, but also your mind becomes calm.” ~Sri M

What’s included
Four practices, one path

Each has its own dedicated page with the full detail. Here’s the shape of what you’ll practise.

Yoga Classes – Foundation & Intermediate

Live · Mon, Wed & Fri — morning & evening batches

The spine of your practice: live asana classes in two graded tracks — 71 Foundation asanas and 94 Intermediate — taught in small groups, with a morning and an evening batch on each class day. Begin where you are; progress when your teacher feels you’re ready.

Pranayama & Yoga Nidra

Live · Tue & Thu, 6:30–7:15am IST

The breath refined, the mind taught to rest. Classical pranayama to harmonise the nervous system, followed by Yoga Nidra — the deep, conscious yogic rest that restores what the day has spent.

Yoga Sangha

Live · Tue & Thu, 7–8pm IST

A community of seekers studying one great wisdom text each month — the Yoga Vashishtha, Ramana’s Forty Verses, the Kenopanishad and more. Where personal sadhana meets shared reflection.

Purnima & Ekadashi Meditation

Live · Purnima 7–7:45pm · Ekadashi 6–6:45am IST

A quieter sitting on the lunar days — reading, mantra, bhajan and guided silence on the full moon and on Ekadashi. Your practice anchored to a rhythm larger than the calendar.

Why practise here
Depth you can feel

A living lineage

An initiative of The Satsang Foundation, founded under Sri M — a Padma Bhushan recipient and a realised master in the Nath tradition. A school with a living lineage, not a programme assembled for the market.

Teachers who teach

Every teacher is trained and guided to align the class with the traditional teachings of yoga and Nath sampradaya.

Tradition without gimmick

Sequences aligned with Nath Sampradaya texts and encased in the philosophy of the Yogasutras of Patanjali. Tradition made accessible to the modern world.

A true sangha

You practise at the same hour as others, study the same texts, and sit in meditation on the same lunar nights. The community that forms around a shared practice is itself part of the practice.

Membership questions
Frequently asked

All four live practices: yoga classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday (Foundation or Intermediate, morning or evening batch), Pranayama & Yoga Nidra (Tue & Thu evenings), the Yoga Sangha study circle (Tue & Thu evenings) and the Purnima & Ekadashi meditations. One fee covers everything, at both levels.

The full weekly timetable is published above. In short: yoga classes on Mon/Wed/Fri (6:00am Foundation, 7:00am Intermediate, and again at 5:30pm and 7pm), Pranayama & Yoga Nidra on Tue/Thu at 6:30am, Yoga Sangha on Tue/Thu at 7pm, and the lunar meditations on Purnima (7pm) and Ekadashi (6am). All timings IST.

No. The membership is one price regardless of your level. As you progress from Foundation to Intermediate, nothing about your fee changes.

There isn’t, and we’ll say why honestly: a practice can’t be judged fairly in a week. Instead we offer full transparency — the complete Foundation and Intermediate sequences are published on the Yoga Classes page, with schedules, teachers and these answers, so you can decide with open eyes. If you’re entirely new, YogaM is a gentle, lower-commitment way to begin.

When you miss a live class, the recording is available to members for a week. Recordings are a convenience for the occasional miss — not an archive, and not a substitute for the live practice.

Yes — the membership is open worldwide, with USD and EUR pricing. The evening IST classes fall in the morning across the Americas and the afternoon across Europe. If no time fits, write to us before joining.

There’s no automatic renewal — you choose when to continue. If you join monthly and wish to stop, simply don’t renew. Step away and return whenever you’re ready; you’re always welcome back.
