The Kaivalya Pada, the final chapter, brings the teachings to completion. It explores the nature of liberation and the freedom that arises when the mind is no longer bound by conditioning. It examines samskaras (latent impressions), memory, and identity, showing how patterns are formed and resolved. The distinction between the seer and the seen becomes clearer, leading to deeper understanding.

Kaivalya is presented as a state of independence, where awareness is no longer entangled in mental activity.

Upon completing this series, students will:

  • See recurring patterns clearly.

  • Learn how awareness resolves them.

Distinguish the Seer and the Seen

  • Recognize awareness as separate from mental activity.

  • Move towards simplicity and steadiness.
