The BYK Sadhaka Membership

Become a Sadhaka.

One membership. A complete daily practice – body, breath, scripture and stillness.

A sadhaka is one who practises – steadily, sincerely, every day. This single membership brings together everything BYK offers for a living daily sadhana: live Asana classes at your level, a wisdom study circle, the Bhagavad Gita, and meditation with the rhythm of the moon. Not four subscriptions to juggle. One path.

Why one membership

A practice is one river, not four streams

Asana steadies the body. The breath gathers the mind. Scripture lights the path. Chanting and meditation bring stillness. These were never meant to be bought as separate courses – they are one practice, supporting each other. As a Sadhaka member, you receive all of it, at whatever level you practise, for a single fee.

What’s included

Four practices, one path

Each has its own dedicated page with the full detail. Here’s the shape of what you’ll practise.

Yoga Sadhana – Daily Asana

Live, Mon–Fri · Foundation & Intermediate

The spine of your practice. Two graded tracks – 71 Foundation asanas and 94 Intermediate – taught live in small classes, morning and evening. Begin where you are; progress when your teacher feels you’re ready.

Yoga Sangha

Live · Tue & Thu, 7–8pm IST

A community of seekers studying one great wisdom text each month – the Yoga Vashishtha, Ramana’s Forty Verses, the Kenopanishad and more. Where personal sadhana meets shared reflection.

Bhagavad Gita Study Circle

Live · Saturday mornings

Chant with precision, understand with clarity, live with purpose. One chapter every quarter – equal weight to Sanskrit chanting and to meaning. No Sanskrit required, only sincerity.

Purnima & Ekadashi Meditation

Live · on the lunar days

A quieter sitting twice a lunar month – reading, mantra, bhajan and guided silence on the full moon and on Ekadashi. Your practice anchored to a rhythm larger than the calendar.

New to yoga? Begin with YogaM, our 21-day foundation – then step into the membership.

“Asanas and pranayama help to bring changes in you so that not only you are physically healthy, but also your mind becomes calm.”

Why practise here

Depth you can feel

A living lineage

An initiative of The Satsang Foundation, founded under Sri M – a Padma Bhushan recipient and a realised master in the Nath tradition. A school with a living lineage, not a programme assembled for the market.

Teachers who teach

Every teacher is trained, named, and present. Class sizes are kept small, so the teaching can be precise and a real relationship can form.

Tradition without gimmick

Sequences from the classical texts; a study circle that works through primary sources; the Gita chanted in Sanskrit. The tradition made accessible, not diluted.

“Cultivate Sat-sangha, to keep Dur-Sangha away.” – Sri M

A true sangha

You practise at the same hour as others, study the same texts, and sit in meditation on the same lunar nights. The community that forms around a shared practice is itself part of the practice.

Membership questions

All four live practices: daily Asana classes (Foundation or Intermediate), the Yoga Sangha study circle (Tue & Thu), the Bhagavad Gita Study Circle (Saturdays) and the Purnima & Ekadashi meditations. One fee covers everything, at both levels.
No. The membership is one price regardless of your level. As you progress from Foundation to Intermediate, nothing about your fee changes.
There isn’t, and we’ll say why honestly: a practice can’t be judged fairly in a week. Instead we offer full transparency — the complete Foundation and Intermediate sequences are published on the Yoga Sadhana page, with schedules, teachers and these answers, so you can decide with open eyes. If you’re entirely new, YogaM is a gentle, lower-commitment way to begin.
When you miss a live class, the recording is available to members for a week. Recordings are a convenience for the occasional miss — not an archive, and not a substitute for the live practice.
Yes — the membership is open worldwide, and USD pricing is provided. The evening IST classes fall in the morning across the Americas and the afternoon across Europe. If no time fits, write to us before joining.
There’s no automatic renewal — you choose when to continue. If you join monthly and wish to stop, simply don’t renew. Step away and return whenever you’re ready; you’re always welcome back.

Begin your daily sadhana

“If you can learn the art of being one-pointed, whether in meditation or in day-to-day life, then you are in a meditative state all the time.” – Sri M
