Tapas, Svadhyaya, Ishwara Pranidhana

A 90-day immersion into the Ashram way of life to deepen your Sadhana

From Theory to Practice
You have read the books. You have practiced the techniques. You have sought quiet moments at home. But true progress often requires a dedicated environment where the only focus is your practice.

This program is that environment.
The Tapas, Svadhyaya, Ishwara Pranidhana program is an opportunity to step away from your daily life for three months and live as a resident Sadhaka at Bharat Yogavidya Kendra.
This is not a certification course. It is not a holiday. It is a period of intense discipline designed for those who want to deepen their personal Sadhana.
At the Ashram, we remove the distractions—phones, social obligations, and idle talk. You will live simply, eat simply, and follow a strict routine. This structure allows you to stop discussing Yoga and start living it.

The Foundation The program is built on the three pillars of Kriya Yoga

Tapas (Discipline):
The heat generated by sticking to a practice. By following the Ashram schedule without deviation, you build the inner strength necessary for transformation.

Svadhyaya (Self-Study):
Reading and reflection. You will spend dedicated time every day studying specific texts prescribed by Sri M, followed by quiet contemplation. This year – 2026, the books in focus will be Yoga also for the Godless by Sri M and The Upanishads by Sri M

Ishwara Pranidhana (Surrender):
Letting go of the ego. Through daily Arti, chanting, and Seva (work), we learn to offer our actions to the Divine.
