Facilitators

Vijayendra Venkatesha

Vijayendra Venkatesh is a dedicated yoga instructor with over seven years of experience guiding students across all age groups. His teaching weaves together, foundational asanas, pranayama and deep relaxation practices to create grounding, balanced, and mindful sessions.

With a strong command of asana sequencing and breathwork, Vijayendra offers thoughtfully structured classes that nurture physical vitality, emotional balance, and inner awareness. His calm presence and adaptable teaching style allow him to meet students exactly where they are, creating a supportive space for growth, authenticity, and self-exploration.

His inspiration comes from witnessing the positive shifts yoga brings to his students and from the joy of serving the community through this ancient wisdom.
Beyond the mat, his greatest passion is yoga itself – exploring its spiritual depths, learning systematically, and immersing himself in the journey with sincerity and devotion.

Vijayendra is the key facilitator for our Intermediate practice classes, Kids Summer camps, Children’s Yoga Teacher Training Program and Balavidya classes.

Dr. Shubha Chetan

With a heart rooted deeply in yogic learning and inner growth, Shubha brings a balanced and sincere presence into every class she teaches.

Shubha enjoys teaching all age groups, finding joy simply in the act of teaching itself. She describes her motivation humbly — she teaches because it makes her feel happy, and that happiness inspires her to give her very best each time.

Outside her formal practice, she finds joy in reading, both fiction and subjects close to her heart, and singing, which adds a gentle creative rhythm to her life.
Grounded, sincere, and always learning, she brings authenticity and depth to her teaching — creating a space where students feel supported, inspired, and gently guided towards their own inner journey.

Shubha is a certified Ayurvedic doctor and that adds another dimension to her persona. She has been supporting the institute since its inception and brings vast experience and knowledge in the space of Yoga and Ayurveda.
Shubha facilitates the Teacher training programs, Ayurveda workshops, Balavidya and Navaratri Sadhana courses at BYK.
